Sisal semi-finished products are made from Sisal straw growing in the Philippines. They are in demand because of the very fine weave that is crisscrossed to create a uniform look.

Sisal straw is mostly hand-woven into the shape of a hat blank. It is then shaped, colored, finished with a border and decorated into the final shape.

It stands out for its softness and lightness. During production, it is easy to knit twice so that it is strong and looks uniform.

The sisal straw used in the production of hats is 100% natural. It can be used indefinitely, so natural straw, as a material, can therefore be understood as a natural renewable resource.

Care and treatment of the straw hat

As you may have guessed, straw is a fragile material, so it is necessary to handle the hat in such a way that the material is not subjected to pressure. Any stronger repeated compression of the hat can lead to breaking of the straws. Repeated firm compression of the material with the fingers in the front of the hat when putting it on or taking it off also leads to damage.

Do not expose the straw hat to high humidity. When the hat is very humid, it loses its original shape.
